Its that time of year again!
MET GALA. YAAAAS.

Time for all us bloggers/fashion lovers to chat about all the
babes and butts of the met gala
You know, as we sit in our Primark jeans and hoodies...

This years theme was Heavenly Bodies and, as per usual,
everyone went all out and I LOVED IT

Rhianna; Arch Bishop of Canterbury realness
Take me to church gurl

Sarah Jessica Parker
Your eyes are not deceiving you.
That is indeed the nativity scene on top of her head.
Yup.

Cardi B
I feel like if Mary was around today and was doing a maternity shoot for

the baby Jesus this is what she would be wearing.

JLo
This is one of my absolute favourite looks
The colours. That train. That leg.
Jenny a ten.

Can we all take a second to appreciate how amazing Kylie Jenner looks?!
Not exactly hitting the mark with the theme but
LORD ABOVE.
Girl looks amazing.

Priyanka Chopra is absolutely stunning in this simple velvet gown and

beautiful embellished hood

And last but in no way least...

Would this heavenly night be complete with an appearance from Jesus Christ himself?
Pass the holy water boi!

Productive week.
More wedding consultations booked.

New props bought - it was pay day!

Something really exciting that happened this week was my flights for Germany have been confirmed! This time next month I will be photographing my first location wedding #ExcitedFace
The location is beautiful..it's like something out of a movie!!

I also ordered my new camera this week!! A Canon 6d Mark ii  - I've been researching for a while but i finally took the plunge and made the trip to Currys. Within 3-5 working day I will have my new camera EEEEEP!! Expect your instagram new feed to be spammed!!

So after a busy week and a few well deserved Saturday cocktails later, I'm on the sofa chilling after my Sunday roast with a few Koperbergs in the fridge. #Bliss

HAPPY SUNDAY x

Sunday 15 April 2018

Big job change has influence me to do a #SundayThoughts post.

Well, It's Sunday night.

I've officially finished my first week as a proper adult with a proper adult job.
Yup, I am an adult with a 9to5 job.
Just like the Dolly Parton song.

I've said before that I've always been down on myself because the majority of high school/college class have graduated uni, seen the world etc.
and i've just been working and trying to make ends meet.
But I've learnt you can't live your life worrying about what other people are doing.
Just because I'm not going at the same pace as everyone else doesn't mean I'm doing things wrong.

I thought starting this new job would make me sad because it's not a step towards what I want to do, but I've come to the realisation that its not a step back - perhaps sideways?
I can still do photography, blog and be creative while earning better money, which in turn will help fund more photography, blogging and creative opportunities!

I'm sure everyone feels like this at some point - I've just got to stay motivated.

Watch this space.

It's that time of year again!
My favourite season for sure.

It's not all about the obvious happiness everyone has when crunching those fresh autumn leaves
Autumn brings a lot of beautiful changes to everyone's wardrobe
and makeup choices.

Fashion

The end of summer and the end of bright pinks, lush lilacs and powder blues.
Bring on the dark purples, oranges and mustards!
Some of my favourite fashion pieces this season have been mustard - which isn't usually a colour I would wear but it has properly grown on me.

Ribbed Bardot Jumper: £19.99                     Suedette Biker Jacket: £39.99

Go to outfit.
Jumper, leather skirt and a chunky belt.
So simple.
But paired with a big coat and some boots and you are ready for anything.

A major statement piece for autumn is always the coat.
There are the traditional longline coats which are always beautiful in any colour:

But this season I am really loving the faux fur coats.
Some fur has been quite subtle, mostly on the collar and cuffs. A fur trim can make any simple coat or any simple outfit have that extra lift.

On the other hand, there are the more stand out coats. I love seeing people in full length coats that are completely covered in a animal print! (secret obsession) Again, it's a real statement piece and can bring any simple outfit to life.

Boots are another thing I love with autumn fashion.
The right pair of boots can complete any outfit and are perfect for this soggy season.

My absolute favourites this season are these stud leather boots from New Look

I may be a little bit biased as I work at New Look and got them discounted BUT I think you would agree that these are beaut! The silver studs make them more than just the average black leather boot. Perfect for the season and could dress up any outfit.

Beauty

As a girl with brown eyes, when it comes to eyeshadows, I usually stay close to my brown and gold palettes. So within the autumn season my colours don't stray too far but just get that bit sparklier.
The autumn season is the perfect time to whip out those bronzes and gold glitters and create something fab!

Autumn is also the perfect time to try out the smokey eye looks with a lush brown palette; simple outfits and a sparkling smokey eye - fab.

Something I've only recently found a love for is lipstick - more specifically matte lipstick. Autumn is probably the best time of year to get into it.
Dark matte lips are definitely a major autumn makeup must.
My latest buy was the LASplash Velvet matte liquid lipstick

I originally went online for a nude and ended up getting something a little darker
- I think this is Mocha Mousse (forgive the snapchat filter!)

What are your go to Autumn trends?

Let me know in the comments!
